Parking garage
Hammerfest Parkering KF offers 24-hour parking garages with camera-based parking without barriers. You drive directly in and out without a ticket. Parking is registered automatically through license plate recognition.
You can pay at the payment machine, online within 72 hours, or receive an invoice. It is also possible to purchase a parking subscription valid for up to one year.
A subscription must be purchased before entering the parking garage in order to be valid from the first parking session.
How the parking works
Both parking garages use camera recognition at entry and exit (free-flow parking). This means:
- No ticket or barrier
- Automatic registration of the vehicle
- Flexible payment afterwards
How to pay in the parking garage
You can pay for parking in the parking garages in the following ways.
Subscription
Purchase a parking subscription before entering the parking garage.
Payment machine
You can pay at the payment machine in the parking garage before leaving the facility.
Payment can be made by card.
You only pay for the actual parking time.
Payment within 72 hours
You can pay afterwards through a payment link at hammerfestparkering.no.
If the parking is not paid within 72 hours, an invoice will be issued.
Billing (applies to parking garages only)
Billing applies only to parking in parking garages and will be issued if the parking has not been paid within 72 hours.
- Invoices are issued every 14 days
- Multiple parking sessions are collected on the same invoice
- An invoice fee will be added
Kirkeparken parking garage (city centre)
Parkgata 5, 9600 Hammerfest
Kirkeparken parking garage is located in the city centre and has 226 parking spaces on two levels. The facility is open 24 hours and uses camera-based parking without barriers.

Rossmolla parking garage is located next to the hospital and has 333 parking spaces across four floors.
Bicycle parking is available in the basement.
