Resident parking
Streets close to the city centre (parking zone 8801) are marked with blue signs with white text.
Resident parking spaces are marked with blue parking signs with a supplementary sign «med P-tillatelse».
In Fuglenesveien, parking is privately regulated. White signs with a black P are used there.

Special information for residents
Residents in Sjøgata, the lower part of Storgata and the lower part of Parkgata
For these addresses, resident parking is located at Batteriet. There are no dedicated guest parking spaces in these streets. Guests are referred to the regular paid parking spaces.
Residents in Mellomgata (winter period)
During the winter months, vehicles must be moved in connection with snow clearing and waste collection.
Parking is not permitted from Sunday at 21:00 to Monday at 08:00.
During this period, vehicles may be parked at Batteriet or in Kirkeparken parking garage.
The arrangement normally applies from November to May. The signage on site always takes precedence.

Would you like to apply?
You may apply for resident parking if you live or have a registered residential address in the city centre or in areas that are signposted as residential parking zones.
If you do not have a registered address at the location, you must document your residence with a valid rental agreement.
Property deeds, electricity bills or insurance documents are not accepted as documentation.
You can choose one of the following options:
Digital registration
Application and payment take place through the EasyPark web portal.
It is not possible to register resident parking in the EasyPark app.
In-person application
Attend in person at the office of Hammerfest Parkering KF.
Documentation of residence and a valid vehicle registration certificate is required. You must be registered as the owner of the vehicle.
Guests
Guests must park in spaces marked as guest parking.
Most guest parking spaces require payment. Exceptions apply in Øvre Mølla, Fjellgata and Rossmollgata.
If guests park for one week or longer, a parking fee applies.
Always follow the signage on site.

Businesses and others who need parking in residential zones are asked to contact Hammerfest Parkering KF.
